Wow, can you believe we are in 2018!!!!

There is something about a New Year that I love. It opens you up for making changes and to think about new goals.  It marks a fresh start, new beginnings and for most an opportunity to try again. Our mindset shifts and we are focused on success. The problem is for most, this is often short lived as life starts to get in the way and old patterns, habits and actions take over.

For years I would enter each new year with such good intentions and sometimes it would last a few months but normally it would fade into the background as I threw myself into my autopilot lifestyle.

A few years ago I made a promise to myself – a promise it commit, make a difference and to take myself seriously so I no longer lived in the past and starting following my hear and passions. It was a game changer, not jus tin my business but in my life. For the first time I was focused on moving forward,

You can do the same.

At the end of year and the beginning of new ones I always follow these steps, to help me move forward with fresh eyes, new opportunities and space for ideas to flow.


TIP NO 1 – Forgiveness
Forgive the mistakes you have made, the people who let you down, the opportunities that passed you by, whatever it may be. Make peace with them and forgive. Carrying around what ifs, buts or maybes, beating yourself up for what happened and what could have been will do nothing but keep you stuck, frustrated and unhappy.

Forgiveness helps you to free up space, to allow new ideas, opportunities, abundance and success to come into you life. It enables you to take back control and feel free for the hold it once had.

Allow yourself the opportunity to start a fresh.

ACTION: Make a list of all the things that have upset you, held you back, made you feel fearful and say the following:


I forgive you, I love you, I am sorry, Thank you.


TIP NO 2 – Celebrate the lessons.

Every mistake, obstacle or challenge that has come your way provides you with feedback, an opportunity to grow and develop, to find out what works and what doesn’t.

View them as lessons and celebrate the opportunity to make changes, to keep going or to make tweaks. It is vital information that gives you power – see it as a positive.


TIP NO 3- Let things go.

Leave behind anything you can’t control, that no longer serves you in the way you want or doesn’t make you happy anymore. The more you carry around – the fear, doubt, overwhelm, the less ‘space’ you have to allow new opportunities to flow your way.
